So im watching the 500 and i couldnt help but wonder y didnt Jr get a penalty for doing the exact same thing that the 38 did in the nationwide and got a 5 lap penalty? whats everyones opinion?

uh... vickers tryed to block jr. who had a huge run and jr. had to get back up before the turn....

Because Jr is nascar's golden boy and they wouldn't want Jr nation to storm the control tower.

I thought that Nascar issued penalty laps couldn't be taken away with the Lucky Dog award. If thats the case why did Jr get the lucky dog when he was a lap down for his pit road infraction?

that is a good point.... idk if they changed the rule this year or not. but it was jr so there are no rules

They kept saying Leffler couldn't get his laps back even if he was the only one eligable because you can't get nascar penalty laps back with a free pass.....but like you said, its Jr, throw the rulebook out the window........causing a caution for "debris"
